Hello! So I'm looking for a new laptop. Originally, I had decided on a Clevo W230SD/Sager NP7339 but by the time I was ready to purchase, it was out of stock everywhere. I've now set my sights on an Asus computer I recently found, the ASUS PRO B451JA-XH52. However, I can't find any reviews of this laptop anywhere, which worries me somewhat. What I'm looking for in a laptop is fairly simple (it will be used for everyday computing, I'm not a gamer or anything): Windows 7 (I know that seems crazy but it's what I'm used to and I love it!), backlit keyboard with no extra number pad to the right of the keys, and customizable to include an SSD drive. I'd like an HDMI port and the aforementioned Asus laptop doesn't come with one, but that's forgivable. The battery also seems less than ideal (3-cell), but I can't find any more information about its battery life online due to nonexistent reviews. With a backlit keyboard, Windows 7 Home 64-bit, 512 GB Crucial Micron SSD, pre-installed 8 GB memory, the laptop will cost about $1273 on AVA Direct.

My question is...is anyone familiar with this laptop at all? Does it seem like a decent laptop? Thank you in advance for any help!

Edited: I was also recently looking at the ASUS UX303LA-XS51T Touch laptop which has everything I desire as well, just with less memory. If anyone is familiar with this laptop, please let me know! :)

The W230SD was marketed at gamers anyway, it was making sacrifices in the design for it so I'm surprised you were gravitating towards it.

The asus is perfectly capable for day to day tasks such as video streaming, office etc.
