Probably bad grammar, but who cares...

I was wondering, if I ordered the C90S at GenTechPC, should I go ahead and purchase the processor with it to get the warranty, or should I buy it separately and just stick with the warranties that are attached to each individual part? What do you guys think?

Depends on the situation -- ie: if you buy it retail or if you buy it OEM, if they give you their warranty or if you have to go to Intel for it.

Ideally, you should keep the stock cooler for the CPU since Intel gives a 3 year warranty for their retail box processors if you still have the fan.

If you do not, the warranty is reduced to 1 year.

If GenTechPC gives you a three year warranty, then it doesn't matter as much.

    Gentech goes with asus' warranty

    1 year (System + CPU)

    Or 2 years for $60
    or 3 years for $ 130

dont forget...making the purchase with a credit card can possibly add on another year of warranty. Check with your CC company for more details.

Alright guys. Two seconds to bite the bullet. Should I buy the Velocity Micro x20, or should I buy the C90S at GenTechPC without the CPU, but with the RAM and wireless card, to make up for it?
