Hey I have an z96j and a week ago I had the bios problem with the keyboard but now I'm having a different problem with my touchpad left click. The left click will almost never reconize when I click it but double tap still works. Is there anyway to fix this without Rma'ing the laptop. Also if anyone from gentech is here if I was to rma would you or would asus fix my laptop?
    Thanks

Isn't this a driver config issue?

Try going into Settings for the touchpad and playing with the Sensitivity and Palm Check settings. Although if the touchpad is double tapping, but not tapping, it might be something else.

Or are you talking about the click button itself? Not tapping?

Yea Im talking about the click button itself and it seems to be a hardware problem because it occurs in linux too.

Then I suppose your only option is to RMA the laptop...
