Hey all, I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate on my G2S-A1 and have been since launch. I installed the latest available video driver today and noticed shortly after that the red lit logo was no longer lit (as if the touch pad was turned off).

I know it that the button doesn't work with vista but i think something obvious may have gotten toggled that i dont know about.

How can i get this light to switch back on?

EDIT: To be more clear, what steps do i need to do or programs do i need to uninstall and reinstall to get it glowing again?

As a note, the touchpad is NOT disabled :)

    thanks in advance!

Any clues? I've reinstalled a couple times now with no success.

Wondering if it has anything to do with those display drives i installed, but that'd be pretty strange.

I would try the ATK/ACPI drivers if I were you, but that's not guaranteed to succeed. Those drivers control hotkeys, leds and stuff.

Try installing the latest synaptics drivers from their website.
