Someone offered for me to trade my UX32VD i7-3517U for their UX302LA i5-4200U.

The UX302LA lacks the GPU, cause the UX32VD has the GT 620M graphics card. Is this worth it?

The UX302LA is also touch screen. I currently play LoL and Hearthstone only so nothing crazy.

Should I do this trade or keep my UX32VD? Which one is better I do not know.

Since you do game, even if its light gaming, I would keep the one you have now. The quad core CPU you have now is typically more desirable then the dual core i5 as well.
Unless you really want a touch screen I dont see any reason to trade. If you're still curious maybe work out a trade for just a couple days then see how you feel.

Ok thanks, Hutsady. The i7 3rd processor is better than the i5 4th generation correct?

The only upgrade I would get is the touch screen, which I would not use a lot already I know, and for the nice shade of blue is nice not going to lie.

There wasn't much change from the 3rd gen to 4th gen for notebook users. Slightly better battery time and better performance from the integrated GPU on the chip. If you multi task a lot the quad core will do better then the dual core. Many games that use the CPU will also work better because of the more cores.

Well in that case then I'll stick with the UX32VD. I do a lot multi-tasking the only downfall is the battery life but I will manage.

    Thanks again!

I'd be tempted because the 620M is so weak the HD4600 is pretty similar in performance.

The UX302LA comes with the HD4400 not 4600

Ah yes so it would be a small step down in GPU performance then rather than a wash.
