Hi there; I need a good tablet/netbook to go to the jungle. Since I have limited electricity I need long battery life BUT I also need to know how quickly/slowly this transformer charges ?

Very quickly, especially if you get the dock (like I have).

And if you root you can get a quick charge kernel, and undervolt the SoC allowing battery life even longer then 16 hours.

I've got a 32gb Transformer and never seen any where near the advertised battery life with or without the dock. That is with the brightness always set to lowest.

^^Ive had the TF for about a month after it came out; on all versions of HC that its gone through (3.0-3.2.1) battery life has been great.

There has been a known issue, where if you have a mounted SD card with lots of music files on it, and dozens that dont have album artwork; then the music app gets stuck in the background (without you even having to bring it up) trying to sync all of the files, youll see a sort of flicker, and it will consume all of your CPU power (slowing down the tablet and draining the battery).

Permanent fix is to use an app to download all of the missing artwork; a temporary one (every restart; that I am forced to use because I cannot find some of the artwork) is to clear the apps data.

    Hope that helps.
