    Hi all you knowledgeable people,

Although not exclusively a laptop query, I have a question which I need help with please.

I have an ASUS ROG EXTREME III Mobo which goes on and on about its triple channel ram.
The thing is I would like to upgrade my ram and all I can seem to find these days is dual and I cannot for the life of me find any info on comparability.
Will the Mobo support dual channel and if so any recommendations? Price is not really a problem (within reason obviously!)
    Thank you all very much.
    :)
    Ryan

Well that is more of a desktop issue but yes you can run in either single, dual or tri channel depending on how you lay out the modules.

Since tri channel was only used on that chipset and more modern high end chipsets use quad channel (X79 and X99) then the tri channel kits kind of died off.

You have 6 slots so 3 dual channel kits would fit and work.
