I installed XP pro off my disc I've had for years and then attempted to install the drivers located in another thread that I had burned to a disc. However I got an error saying I needed to at least have SP1 in order to install the drivers. I couldn't access the internet to update windows because I'm assuming I didn't have the drivers installed... So kind of at a loss. I reinstalled Vista for now but would really rather use XP until Vista has more kinks worked out.
I would appreciate any help.

If you have a driver disk, then you should be able to install the ethernet of wireless drivers from there. Then, you can get acces to the Internet and download SP1. Alternatively, you could find drivers from the Asus website that do not require SP1 for Windows XP to be installed. Hope this helps.

find your ethernet card or wireless card drivers and install just that. Get online and get the rest.

So which all do you think I need to install in order to get online? Wired/Wireless?
I burned these all to a disc:

The files marked as "WLAN_XP_061027.zip" and "LAN_XP_060220.ZIP" should be bale to get the wireless and wired ethernet working.
