Have a red stuck pixel or two in the middle of the screen on a zenbook I recently bought. This one has a matte screen and I've tried a few different things to fix it but it hasn't gone.

I've tried tapping the pixel and applying pressure to the portion of the screen and I've tried running that program where it flashes some bright colours in quick succession along with a youtube video that does the same but neither technique has worked so far. I don't wanna return or exchange it because it is just one tiny spot that's only noticeable on certain backgrounds like black but it is a bit annoying to have and would appreciate any fix.

It sounds more like a dead pixel and not a stuck one. Does it show color? Or is it white or black? Stuck pixels you can often fix; dead pixels, you will most likely have to send it in.

^ I think it's a stuck pixel because it's not black or white....it's red. I don't think that this is covered by Asus...of course I could exchange it since it's within 30 days but would have to pay Newegg shipping and I'd rather not for a small spec that's only notable on usually black screens.
