    Turn off / disable OLED display on the G50V in XP

    I'm tired of the OLED blaring in my face at 5AM, so here is how to disable it. If anyone already posted this I apologize.

    Go device manager and find under Human Interface Devices, and find the entry for USB Human Interface Device.

    Right click, select disable and click yes.

    If you have more than one USB HID, you can be sure you have got the right one by right clicking the first, selecting properties, and checking the Hardware Ids in the dropdown on the Details tab matches the one in my second screenshot.

    Thanks, I do not need to turn it off but I may be able to use this information to figure out how to program it :p

    Simpler way:

    Disable one, see if your mouse doesn't work, enable if it doesn't, disable the other one :D
