I have the asus direct console 2.0 to control the led and other things on my x5 but i remove it from the automatic beginning because i´m using the lcd hype.

    Here is my question:

How can i turn off the lateral lights? i try turning off from the direct console and it works but when i restart my notebook, the lateral lights are on again.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my awful english

unplugging is the only way. if you do, pry the feet of somewhat gently. that should prevent the tape from folding and having to glue them back.
