I've been thinking of getting an Eee as a secondary notebook to take to class/etc... but I'd need to be able to type on it.

So how is it? I realize that there will be an adjustment period no matter what, but once you're adjusted - is it comfortable and accurate? Can you type quickly?

Its much better than a thumb board on a pocket pc but depending on your hand size you my have to become a three finger on each hand typist ;>)

I got pretty normal sized hands and I'm typing right now at an angle from my EeePC on a pillow and I'm typing normally at a nice steady pace. Really nice while killing sometime for Kyle and Terminator to start.

Now that I'm used to it, I type just as fast on the Eee as I do on any other keyboard. But, as a former Picturebook user, I'm fairly used to typing on tiny keyboards.

At this point, it's actually kind of strange to type on a full sized keyboard.

Unlike most people, I don't view the Eee keyboard as a weakness of the machine. To me, it's one of its main strengths.
