I am considering purchasing the U31JG-A1, but haven't been able to find any reviews with substance.

Would love to get a detailed review from current U31JG owners, and I am especially interested in hearing about (1) overall build quality, (2) keyboard feel & quality (ie flex), and (3) battery life/performance.

Not concerned about gaming performance as I am looking to use this laptop for general web browsing, web email, YouTube, FaceBook, and HD video playback over HDMI.

    Thanks.

Bought this model for my girlfriend and she is quite pleased with it

1: Generally quality is good, though the plastic area above the battery is quite weak.
2: Comfortable to type on, haven't noticed any flex really.
3: Haven't tried the battery yet actually, she's waiting for her sleeve to arrive before she'll start carrying it around and using without the powercord. Silent operation and it stays cool.
Gamingwise, atleast it runs sims 2 smoothly :p I found the screen colours to be "cold" straight from the box, but that's easily adjustable.

Thanks for the info. When you've gotten a chance to run this on battery, it would be nice to know what the real-world battery performance is like.
