which one is a better computer ? since the u46 has better gpu, but the u36 is lighter, and the u46sv is gona be out at some unknown era, vs the u36 sd is out; if the u46 is better, does it worth the waiting ?

On what terms would you like these computers to be compared?

the u46sv wins in the GPU category if you opt for the 540m. the u36 has the 520m GPU. The u36 as always is thinner and is known for its overall build quality. if you can check out the u46 at your local best buys or office max. to me if i had the money i go u36 if i didnt game much. i just like the overall brushed finished and texture i didnt like the u46 cuz it felt weird, its a roughish bumpy feeling, not flat even on the palm rest. but you SHOULD see for yourself. overall both machine are great depends on what youll be using it for.
general - your perference (smaller lighter u36 vs a little thicker heavier u46)
    specs - u46 GPU better
heat - i ono no one has the u46sv yet
built quality - i like the u36 for its smooth surface vs bumpy u46( damn, too sick to think of the word -.-)
battery - hmmmmm =p i ono look into it should say
    read the review kinda helps

I think ultimately it comes down to, which is more important, portability, or performance?

Unless you must have better GPU performance, I would pick the U36SD over the U46SV. The difference in weight and thickness is quite drastic.

I haven't tried playing games on my U36SD, but for everyday use, heat isn't much of an issue.

U36SD Gaming is "Sufficient" for most games.
