Does anyone know what kind of SSD on U36SD-XH71 use?
It say 160gb, but nothing else. Is it the intel or a crappy ssd?

Can't really decide whether to get an A1 and buy the ram and ssd separately or just get the XH71... excaliberpc.com is offering at 1199.99 including shipping and tax...

According to Ken Lee' site: GenTech PC - Customize System
It appears to be INTEL 160 GIG SSD. Depending on when and who you buy from I would guess this may not be the standard drive. I would ask the vendor before I ordered.

I would upgrade later as technology will be better or price will decrease for them. If you are going to spend $850+ on the U36SD (4GB ram, non-SSD), then you are wasting your money. My friend bought the brand new U36SD-A1 for $700 shipped. Then upgrading ram and SSD will be around $30 for 2x4GB (G.Skill) and $110 for 160GB SSD (Corsair SATA III). You have to look around for these deals.
