    Just bought an Asus U50F and a 23" LG monitor (1920 x 1080 resolution) for my wife to use for her business.

    When I hook up the Asus to the monitor through HDMI, the output isn't taking up the whole screen. When I hook it up with VGA it will fill the screen, but it looks awful.

    Can this Asus laptop output 1920 x 1080 via HDMI?
