.... and you'll continue to wait till it appears in North America.... Asus isn't going to bring in anymore dothan based units...... Early February still stand as the start of importation of the yonah based systems.... I think the U5a is a prime model to start that off as all the current systems that are out there won't be refreshed to a yonah based system till somehwere around the end of March, begining of April..... So starting in February only the totally new systems will start to come out, but even Asus has said the rollout on them is going to take a couple months.

Wow. That's... thin...
But I like my notebooks just like I like my women... they have to have a little more meat in them.. (w3v... Mmmm..) -
Is this a completely new chassis or is it a continuation of the M5A/Z33ae line?
-
Nice lappy. BTW it's not that thin. But it's a sexy machine and light around 3 lbs
-
The optical drive sure seems slim... less than 1cm? Wow...
-
Can't help but notice that the maximum amount of ram is 1.5 gigs ddr2 but doesn't mention the form factor.
Does this mean that Asus managed to shoehorn a standard so-dimm socket onto a chassis similar in size to the z33 or will we finally see some 1 gig ddr2 micros on the market? -
Yeah...looks like it supports regular SO-DIMM
-
Should I wait for the notebooks coming out in Febraury or get one now?
-
I'd probably just get one right now. -
Ah they broke my heart with the XGA instead of WXGA.. Looks like I'm still waiting.
