    my U5F is overheating!
it's like burning and ready to explode!

i've tried cleaning the fan and it didn't do anything
    it's still hot like crazy
what's wrong with it and what should i do?
send it to repair? well it's still under warranty i think i can do that
but i dont know if they can really help solve this problem

if this problem can be solved, i'll consider upgrading the CPU to T7600 afterwards
if not.. i may as well find a way to get rid of it and purchase a new one instead

I've never used SpeedFan before, but I see you have Automatic fan speed checked. If you uncheck that, can you make the fan constantly spin at 100%?

    thanks for your help
but i've tried that and yet nothing changed
i suppose there's some other problem going on with the parts inside
not too much about the fan though
i've also tried putting a powerful fan next to it, it only helped lower the temperature by less than 10 degrees....

if i send it to repair, how long will it possibly take before i get my laptop back to me?
i can hardly survive without my laptop and it's the only computer i hav right now.....

    and it burns,..... sigh..

Y core (voltage) looks ... let's say a little bit high.
Did you try to make scrambled eggs? Is it really hot or just a reading?

HDD a 62, even that that's really crazy. But CPU at 95... is that idle?

If you've cleaned the fans and vents, I'd have to suspect a fan has failed or a heatsink has come loose, maybe both. In either case, I'd recommend contacting your reseller and getting an RMA. The factory should be able to diagnose and correct any cooling system problems you're experiencing. If it was one bad fan you might replace it yourself, but anything more than that I'd take advantage of the warranty you paid for and let the factory fix it.

Well, if the computer didn't blow up yet, I would suggest firstly remove Speed FAN! It doesn't work well with new notebooks and it might have stopped your fan.

Other than that, check JoeNewberry's suggestions. If the fan does work, then it might indeed be a heatsink problem.

Yep, EBE is right. My apologies for being too hasty. Before jumping to conclusions about the hardware, exhaust your software options first. Since SpeedFan can change the speeds of your fans and at what temperatures they come on, it would be well worth the few minutes to test your temps without it installed. If you happen to be running XP you could use MobileMeter, which only measures temperatures and doesn't try to modify anything. If the system still runs hot with SpeedFan removed, then I'd investigate the fans and heat sinks further.

focus on the vents while cleaning (with compressed air).

Make sure to use the notebook only on hard, clean, flat surfaces.
    - do not block vents while using it.

NOT on lap, bed, couch or any other soft surfaces

And SpeedFan was many for desktops, use monitors that work for notebooks like:
    - Notebook Hardware Control
    - HWmonitor
    - RMclock
