Hi all, I have a Asus U6V-A1 laptop running on XP, and the graphic card is Nvidia Geoforce 9300M GS with the latest driver installed. I tried to connect the laptop to my TV (42' Westinghouse 106.7 HDTV 1080P), however the TV screen constantly flickers! It will display properly for 2-3 seconds, then go black screen for half a sec, then flicker back on, then repeat the process. Any idea how to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like a driver issue to me. Try use 177.92 from laptopvideo2go and see if that works. remember to use the modded inf file.

That's odd, I'm using the exact same drivers and using HDMI without any problems. Do you have an external monitor and/or different HDMI cables you could try it with?

Someone suggested to me that that it might be a HDCP issue, and I have to install the latest WHQL certified video drivers. Since the XP only takes modded inf, I decided to install vista to another partition and try dual boot. Well turns out the HDMI TV-out worked with Vista, so it might really have been a HDCP. But interestingly, after I installed Vista, even TV-out from XP works fine too! However, when I TV-out from Vista I get both video and sound, but when I TV-out from XP, I get video only. I have the driver for Nvidia HDMI installed on my XP and it runs fine when I play 1080p BDrips on my laptop. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
