This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    40 minutes off a 3-cell and 90 minutes off a 9-cell battery? Either there's something extremely broken about their battery test or someone failed math in elementary school.

    Please note it was a stress test, with the CPU always running full blast.

    It doesn't look good anyway, but at least it puts things into perspective.

    It's still pretty bad. On my U3, I get 80 minutes with everything on, set to max, external ODD plugged in and dvd playing, on a 6-cell.

    The numbers would be closer to 120 minutes with the 9-cell.
