    There seems to be something seriously wrong with power management. I also user Power for Gear but here is my obserevations;

    If I go right to battery in entertainment mode I see with battery bar at least 10,000 + as the draw from the battery. Alot of times that gets over 12,000. Batery bar shows about 3:30 battery life and even widows sows just over 4 hours along with Power for Gear.

    Now if I go to power saver and then back to entertainment mode things change. Draw goes down to 8,500 while idle, battery bar goes to 4:30+ even at 90% left and Windows and Power for Gear show 6.0 Hours left at 90% battery left.

    Not sure though if this is power for gear or Windows 7 issue. I guess my next step is to remove Power for gear and see if these issues still exist without it. I can say I saw this with Windows 7 RC also but couldn't pin it down at the time.

    Anyone else notice power issues as well? Also does anyone know of the cure, could save me alot of hair pulling.............

    Edit; After over 2 hours of web and office apps I still have 67% of the battery left. I hadn't taken notes of the numbers before but can say it seems to be sipping power less after the switching of power states as listed above...........
