    Anyone care to provide the differences in the UL vs U and the JC vs JT in one thread for reference?

    I keep getting them all confused myself.

    Asus has such an odd product naming strategy.

    UL series = CULV CPUs.
    U series = normal CPUs.

    I guess the confusion also lies in the fact that the new U series is the new i3 and they are advertising 8-10 hours of battery life with that (see U30JC) So in an essence, why CULV over that?

    u has backlit keyboard, UL does not.
    JC has optical drive, JT does not

    I'm thinking the JC vs JT in reference to the optical drive only applies to the 30 series? Correct?

    Will there even be a 80 or 50 jc and jt?
