Hey guys, I'm really torn right now.

I'm looking for a laptop with
    - long battery life
    - basic gaming
    - as high performance as possible

As I've narrowed it down to these two lines, I really don't know which model is best. What do you guys think?

Which UL80 and which UL30? Some of those models have more graphics power than the other. For example, the UL30a-A2 has Intel 4500 as it's sole graphics worker, while the UL30vt-A1 has a GeForce 210m and 4500 in a hybrid configuration.

In any case, if you get comparable models--i.e. UL80vt and UL30vt--the only difference is size and maybe cooling; they have the same components.

I think GentechPC still has some UL80vt ULs in stock.

I think I've narrowed my choices down to
    ASUS UL30Vt-X1
    ASUS UL30Vt-A1

Get the A1. It comes with the Asus 2 year standard/ 1 year accidental warranty (X1 only comes with 1 year standard), has a slightly higher capacity battery, and doesn't pick up fingerprints like the X1.
