my mom accidentally spilled some pancake syrup onto the mousepad, and it leaked between the cracks of the right mouse button, now the button has a sticky bad feel to it. the syrup is not in the crack, it went through the crack and under the mouse button. i dont use the mouse buttons in most cases, but in some cases i do, so i want to figure out how i can clean it.

does the mouse button pop off with a screwdriver so that i can clean it? does anyone know? or would i have to take apart the notebook in order to clean it?

Not sure on that particular model but generally you need to disassemble the bottom case to reach to the mouse buttons. Don't force it with a screwdriver as you are likely to break something apart.
