I wanna have my youtube HD decode on both gpu's. I have installed the Flash Player 10.1 Beta 2, but the HD decode seems not working as CPU usage is still very high.

I would like to know is the driver on the driver disk for GPU's new enough to enable the HD decode function on both GPU's? Where can I find my Nvidia

I tried install the latest driver from Intel, but it resulted in failure.
And I cant find any driver setting for Nvidia on the right icons of the tool bar. (icons next to the date and clock)

You need the latest Nvidia driver for the gpu-accelerated Flash HD decode function to work. Unfortunately, the UL30VT's driver is too old, and to date Asus has not released any new hybrid graphics drivers for it. Chances are Asus has abandoned graphics driver support for the ULxxVT series in favor of the new models which support Nvidia Optimus technology.

My UL30VT-A1 works fine with the Asus driver using Flash 10.1b2. You are not specific enough. What do you mean by "CPU usage is still very high."? What percentage usage are you getting? Which GPU are you using when you are watching the HD video on youtube?

In general, if your CPU is downclocked in turbo mode (that would be ~1ghz), CPU usage will be slightly higher. In overclocked turbo mode (~1.7ghz), it'll be a bit lower.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried both GPU, the situations are the same.

First, the CPU is downclocked to 800Mhz.
When 1080p flash is played, CPU usage = 100% and the video is not smooth.

Then, the CPU is at its normal level i.e. 1.3Ghz
When 1080p flash is played, CPU usage = ~60-80%, the video is smooth

If HD Decode is enabled, the cpu usage shouldnt be high like that.
