Hi everyone, I have been trying to search Google and the forums for a while to understand the difference between UL30VT and UL30A. Nothing specific has come up. They look very similar and the specs for some models are the same.

What is the difference between the two? Is UL30VT just the newer version of UL30A?

I was planning to get the UL30A because of its amazing battery life. Does UL30VT have the same amazing battery life?

    Any help appreciated. Many thanks.

Biggest difference is UL30VT has more peformance features: 33% overclock, DDR3 RAM, G210M+X4500 switchable graphics. PPl on NBR are running their UL30VT at a stable 1.9Ghz overclock. Well worth a small premium over the UL30A.

    Many thanks nando4!

Do you think the battery life would be affected? I just did a search on the main Asus website and I see the switchable graphics which should help with the battery life. No problem if you don't know the answer.

Just trying to gather more information.

    Thanks again.
