So finally pulled the trigger, UL30vt-X1K is on the way! I like the black better than the silver and not worried about the battery life too much.

The first thing I want to do when I get it though is wipe it and reinstall what I need from scratch. I already have a USB boot drive with Win7 x64 enterprise, but what do I need to do to utilize the machine?

I'm wondering about quickboot, turbo33, switching graphics, etc. Do I need to set up some partitions when installing the OS? What software needs to go back on?

Any links or info are appreciated!

The ' http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu...-ul30vt-faq-official-owners-lounge-redux.html' has answers to most of the frequently asked questions for this notebook. Quoting from the page:

If you are curious about the rest of the ASUS applications available I suggest also taking a look at the ' http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/380681-asus-utility-bloatware-guide.html' which details what each of the ASUS utilities do, and whether or not they are necessary for the computer to function
