    HI, guys
it's almost year now i bought this laptop.
as time goes the computer starting to slow down.
i like to make a change in CPU.

    these are what im considering
    SU9600 1.6ghz
    i3-380UM 1.3ghz 3mb
    i5-560UM 1.3ghz 3mb

im not sure if i can upgrade the CPU and keeping the boost thing
this will be my primary question...can i do this??

    then which cpu is better?

don't think you can fit a i3/i5 in the socket, not sure if you can replace it with 9600 tho, CPU might be soldered in

CPUs dont 'slow down', you probably just need to clean your harddrive, defrag/remove junk etc, personally i think investing in a faster HDD (e.g. SSD) is more important than CPUs, unless you are maxing out CPU usage all the time

yeah i need to format the hard drive or something but i just have too much junk in the harddrive to wipe them all out

    ahhhhhhhhhhh....
i guess i have to wait for another monster laptop to be come out...
maybe MPB equipped with better CPU(i seies) and dedicated video card...

    i need
    13"
descent CPU to play games(ex.diablo 3) and multitasking
    descent dedicated video card
    7 or more battery life
    price below $1200

im pretty sure ul30vt can run diablo3 whenever it releases. but lil too slow...to bother a bit.
