This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    UL50AG or UL80VT

    I am considering a new Asus for business purposes that has good multitasking capabilities. I looked at the UL50AG at Best Buy and then discovered the UL80VT which seems to have better components but slightly smaller screen. I would like to stay around $700 and want best possible components, build quality and warranty / service. I am not too tech oriented so am looking for input - pros, cons, alternatives.
