I have two routers in my home, a main one located in my basement which is a DLINK DIR-655. And a router/access point on the main floor which is a ASUS RT-N13U wired to the dlink. Both routers are wireless N routers.
I recently sold my ASUS 1001P-PU17 netbook. When I had it, I was able to connect between the two routers depending on which floor i was on with no problems.
I now have a ASUS UL50AG-RBBBK05 and started to have problems. When I am connected to the dlink router the internet works fine and dandy. However when I connect to the asus router the internet becomes an issue. Youtube will come up, however videos won't load. Main pages of websites will load up but not other pages within the website. Or the internet will not work all together. This happens about 70% of the time, when i've been connected to the asus router for a while. Signal strength is not an issue as im sitting right next to the routers when connected to them.
I suspect this is an issue with the laptop as everything worked fine with my netbook. Tho the netbook was 802.11g only (maybe ill try to force 802.11g on both the routers and the laptop when i get home, but i'd like to have 802.11n working). I've updated my drivers to the newest Intel WiFi 1000 bgn drivers, and that didn't help.
I don't think much people have this laptop but has anyone have had issues like this with their ASUS laptops? Is this just something wrong with my settings?
UL50AG wireless problems??
