I have a UL50VTRBBBK05 I got from newegg. I absolutely love it. Did a little video card OC'ing and what not. Found the same sad issues with the video drivers it looks like everyone is struggling with.

I found a Japanese site that some how set the multiplier to 8x... I want to do this in order to achieve higher CPU speeds, beyond 1900 mhz

Has any one had any luck manually setting memory timings, etc?

I would like to do some serious overclocking but the bios is kind of lacking in options.

I am also interested if any one has opend one of these things up and changed the video card/cpu/screen?

I Love the chassis, but I would like to eventually upgrade it with a better video card and maybe an faster CPU. I would also love a higher res screen.

Do any back lit keyboards exist that fit the UL50?

Would the main board from a UL80 fit in ours? Best buy now sells a UL80 with a i3 and a g310m optimums...

Any disassemble instructions or pics of the UL 50/ 80?

I thought the UL50 series had a soldered-on CPU and GPU.

Also you're a bit limited in terms of overclocking since no extreme processors exist for ULV CPUs.
