What are the main differences between the two besides screen size? If there is any? I just got the UL50VT, and I really wanted to know if their is any advantages having one over the other?

Nope, it's really mostly the same. Screen size is the biggest difference, followed by the numeric keypad on the right, and finally the hard drive. The UL50VT has a bigger hard drive 500GB as opposed to the 320GB found on the UL80VT. Other than those three differences, both systems are identical. I originally was going to get the UL50VT but ended up with the UL80VT. Also bear in mind the UL80VT was cheaper, atleast when I bought it compared to the UL50VT.

i bought the UL50Vt-X1 from newegg ($829.99). The HD is 320GB compared to the usual 500GB but there is a cool promotion right now. you can get a free Zune HD 16GB media player for free. good deal!
