I am torn between these two models:

    ASUS K61IC-X4:

Intel Core2 Duo Processor P7450 for versatile productivity
Extra bright 16-inch HD Color Shine LED-backlit widescreen (16:9)
ASUS Discrete Graphics Engine (NVidia GeForce GT220M)
ASUS Super Hybrid Engine for extended battery life1
    4GB of DDR2 system memory
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed
    320GB, 5,400rpm hard drive
    Built-in 802.11n wireless connectivity
    Integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam
    Numeric Keyboard
    ASUS IceCool Technology
ASUS 360: 1 year global warranty and ASUS ADW: 1 year accidental damage warranty*

    ASUS UL50VT:

    - Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 ULV (1.3GHz, 800MHz FSB, 3MB L2)
    - 512MB GDDR3 NVIDIA GeForce G210M (Dedicated) with Switchable Graphics
    - 15.6" HD LED (1366 x 768) Display with Color-Shine technology
    - 2GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM (Max 4GB)
    - 500GB (5400RPM) SATA HDD
    - DVD+/-RW DL Drive (Slim-type)
    - Wireless-N, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN
    - Integrated Webcam, Mic, Card Reader
    - Altec Lansing speakers with SRS Premium Sound, 3D Soundblaster Pro
    - 1 x HDMI, 3 x USB, 1 x VGA, 1 x Line Out, 1 x Mic In
    - 8-cell Li-Ion Battery (up to 12-hours* battery life)
    - 2.3kg
    - ASUS Express Gate (8-sec Boot time)
    - Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    - 2-Year ASUS warranty

Which one should I buy? I am going to use it for internet, music, watching HD movies, etc. Not really for gaming. So I want a higher resolution screen and definitely above average speakers than other laptops. What do you think guys?

Other models that you will recommend will be a big help also...thanks!

For me, the resolution on the UL50Vt was too low. It looked bad... forget the UL50Vt.
