I recently got my UL80VT and loving it so far! The first thing I did was load a fresh copy of Win 7 Home Premium x64 to remove the Asus bloat. I installed all of the ATK drivers from Asus (OCD, Generic Function Service, Media, Hotkey, ACPI) and Power4Gear Hybrid.

I tried enabling the Turbo mode, restarted, but I'm still at 1.3ghz. FSB is at 840 (5% BIOS overclock) so Turbo is definitely not enabled. I've tried disabling and reenabling the turbo mode, but nothing :(

    Any ideas?

P.S. I've read about many people getting 2.1ghz, are they using SetFSB or something?

How are you checking the speed of the cpu? Using CPU-Z?

Note: If you are just checking in the control panel, windows won't show the overclocked speed, even if you are in Turbo mode.

Nevermind! Between some combination of setting Easy Overclock to 0%, Reinstalling Power4Gear Hybrid, and turning turbo OFF (?!?), it seems to run at 1066FSB now :D

CPUZ is known to have compatibility problems with CULV processors.
