    Hello all!!

I'm currently using an ASUS UL80VT with a G210M dedicated card inside. The current driver listed on the Nvidia website isn't compatible with the card. That being said, does anyone know of any user created drivers that might be reasonably updated/usable. Thanks in advance!

    The current driver I have installed is the 186.88 / 8.15.11.8688 (2009)

Have you already checked for newer drivers on Asus' Support website? Those will be compatible for sure (and the site will automatically detect your model and hardware).

Also, don't be surprised if your performance doesn't increase after the driver upgrade. In fact, it could get worse. Take for example my case: I updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest software, and my Windows Experience Index score for Graphics (Desktop performance for Windows Aero) dropped considerably from 4.4 to 3.9!!! Why? I have no idea. One theory is that the older drivers were optimized for my (then current) hardware, while new drivers are optimized for the latest hardware available at the expense of some compromises for the older hardware (like mine).

I rolled back to older drivers from Asus' website, re-ran my Windows Experience Index assessment, and my graphics score went back up to 4.2, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it back to the original 4.4 when it was new out of the box.

Just think twice before you update your drivers... you may get what you asked for, or maybe worse!
