Does anyone know how long it takes to get a RMA# and shipping info after receiving a case number?
Thanks

While i'm in Canada, the hotline number appears to be the same; I got my RMA and shipping info within 2-4 hours of calling.

Basically what happens is that you call the ASUS support, takes about 30 minutes, you'll get a RMA number via email, also in the email you will be given the shipping info of your nearest repair center.
Generally what happens if the repair center in local, then 1-2 day for shipping, but if the repair center is far away, you can spend up to 1 week in shipping.
The repair work takes roughly 1-3 days, then they ship it back as fast a possible. The repair time is dependant on whether the repair center has the necessary parts.
I suggest you call ahead, to your repair center after you got your RMA number, and inquire about the parts, and then from there you shold have an idea on how long it would take for your notebook to return to you.
In North America, the service is really good, some people even get their laptops repaired as fas as 1 week turn around time. -
Thanks for the info. I called CA again after reading your replies. Was told my case "fell through the crack" and will be submitted again.
