Everything was working fine after the fresh windows installed and since this morning I turned my laptop on and all the usb doesn't recognize my devices. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just now tried to install the camera file but it failed. Do I need both drivers on Asus's download? Thanks

usb drivers are part of windows.... probably shouldn't have done a fresh install to start with, but that's another story. I'd reinstall everything again.... windows and all of the drivers off the disc that came with the system (it's so new that they're up to date)..... install those before doing any windows updates.

... you got what you wanted?

I don't know buddy...... xp should install those automatically..... other than that, there isn't a file on asus' recovery discs or anything.

In your device manager, please check what you have listed for USB Universal Host Controllers. They should all be listed as "Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family)". If they aren't, you need to update the driver using the ones provided on the Driver CD, or you can download them from Asus' site.

I did a fresh install when I got my w7j. Everything is working. Aside from some updated drivers I got from asus's site, I install everything else minus p4g and some other utilities from the Asus cd. Cheers and good luck.

*PS: I reconmend you to start again.
