I was wondering if it was possible to get triple monitors on this machine? Two using a usb 3.0 dock and then one with the onboard hdmi or displayport.

You can always add USB displays but they will be software rendered with all the restrictions that places on it.

You should be able to use the internal panel, HDMI and displayport at the same time.

You can convert miniDP using MST hub and you can get 3 output with this connection alone.
    Plus HDMI.
