I am deciding between these too...
The price would be almost same if I upgrade the U36SD to 8g Ram and 120g SSD...
Which one worth the money and which one would you guys prefer?

You can't upgrade the ram on the UX because it is integrated onto the mainboard.
You can possibly upgrade the UX SSD, but it is low profile/gumstick form factor so you have limited options and limited sellers to purchase from. -

For better performance the U36SD will be quicker once you add an SSD to it. It also has upgradeability options like more RAM or bigger hard drive and has a better gpu installed. The UX31 is pure sexy but is limited on what you can upgrade. The specs on it are pretty much all you'll need if you dont plan on gaming. The 4GB RAM is kinda a low amount. It really comes down to how much power you need in your computer. For the best mobility, build quality, and coolness the UX31 is the way to go. For a little more juice the U36SD. Personally I'd go with the UX31 and plan on getting one soon too.

Just to add - upgrading the U36 HDD is actually a bit involved. The RAM is easy enough.
