    Hello,

I (fairly) recently bought a new UX31E. Today, however, I noticed that the rubbery strip which runs around the edge of the screen has been tucked under and caught between the silver speaker and plastic (where ASUS is written) below the screen. Has anyone else had this problem?

About 1 inch width of the the rubber has been pushed in and I'm struggling to "pull" it back out. It's a shame to have this visual defect on such a nice looking laptop.

If anyone has suffered this also I'd be happy to know if it's possible to fix!

    Thanks!
    Nick

If it's stuck under the bezel you may be able to use a guitar pick or spudger tool to gently move it back into the right place, unless there is enough force from the bezel holding it there where you can't get under it at all. In that case, send it back.
