    Hello,

A relative's UX31A has a half circle of super brightness or something like that on the right side of their UX31A's screen. The best way to describe it is that it looks like someone wiped a small part of a dirty window. I was wondering what the heck it is.

My wild guess: someone has squeezed the edge of display a little bit too hard (probably while carrying it) and the LCD panel has taken damage but not enough to crack it.
