    hi all,

I just bought my zenbook, and there's a problem concerning the touch pad.
i had a few occurrences, when i wanted to use it after it's been in sleep mode, and the touch pad didn't react to movements at all (only the buttons reacted).
when i plugged in a mouse, the mouse acted fine.
the problem was solved only after a reboot.

    any ideas about this issue?

    thanks,
    Amir

Are you running Windows 7 or Windows 8 - or another OS? You can try uninstalling the driver for the trackpad from within device manager, then let Windows reinstall the default driver. If that doesn't work, let us know which OS you have - you may need to reload the driver from the component manufacturer, be it updating or rolling back.
