I got my wife this laptop and I was wondering if anyone had this issue so far? Are there any fixes for this? BIOS update? or something.

    Thanks!

Depends what you're talking about. I have seen a few posts reporting random shutdowns, but that was the laptop entirely shutting down, not sleeping. I had this issue once, and Asus instructed me to install the most recent sound drivers from Realtek. This was the last in a series of annoyances (huge backlight bleed on that one), so I exchanged it. No issues with this one so far, but I did do a fresh install with most recent drivers straight from Intel/Realtek when possible.

You can go to our support site and update all your drivers to the most current. Make sure you go to the download tab and select the operating system you are using. Go to the utilities and expand it and update this driver should solve your issue ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities
