    UX31E upgrade touchpad to UX31A

    Has anyone tried to replace the ux31e touchpad with the toucpad of the 31a? i have the sentelic touchpad with all its issues and it would be great to have a better one.
    since its possible to use the keyboard of the 31a i assume the touchpad might work as well?

    If anybody is still interested in this, it is not possible to use the tochpad of the UX31A. It has a different connector with more contacts.

    The follow up is appreciated, xenor. I'm sure you're not alone on your feelings about the touchpad; now others can benefit from your trial and error. Hopefully the laptop is treating you well otherwise.
