    UX32A: Do we have a 5ghz band in our laptops, like Macs?

    At university, I sometimes have trouble connecting to wifi, and someone told us that all Macs have the 5ghz wifi adapters, and only some normal laptops do as well.

    I saw in the Intel Adapter settings: 2.4ghz option, 5ghz option, and Mixed. However if I 'enable' these settings it resets the wifi and never picks anything up, so I keep it disabled and it lets me connect most of the time. If I don't enable this, am I still using 5ghz?
