    Hello,

I've been using my UX32V with a lot of joy. Though yesterday it needed a complete reinstall, and of course I had no recovery image of a proper installation (that won't happen again). Anyway, it's up and running again apart from the touchpad. It's still crappy and it's still bringing me to the Metro environment or the upper right corner in Win8 whenever my arm gets close to it, or whenever I want to use it.

I used a small tool to prevent this, but it's been running in the background for ages and I have no idea what it was called and I cannot find it anymore. Touchpad blocker? How can I fix the touchpad problem easily (I'm not a computer specialist) and properly?

    Thanks a lot.

In your touchpad options after installing the drivers you should be able to adjust sensitivity, active gestures and other settings to get it more to your liking.

As Meaker correctly pointed out, you will have to adjust it.

If you have a synaptics touchpad, "palm detection" and "disable when typing" will be the options you are looking for.
