    Hi

I am on UX32VD with a fresh copy of Windows 8 Pro. I should have installed all drivers however there is one behavior I want to get rid of.

There is a default setting that boots up in regard to turn on backlight keyboards and Power settings being on Power Saving feature. I want to get rid of this behaviour and have it remember the last used settings!

    That should be possible

Please let me know of any solution

Perhaps I should clarifiy my problem:

There is 2 behaviours I want to turn change:

    1. Either turn off backlight on keyboard on startup or remember last used settings.

So if I had the backlight turned off when shutting down the computer. Next time on startup it should remember that it was turned off.

    2. Having POWER4GEAR Hybrid remember last used setting.

Currently the problem is that it keeps starting up the application (POWER4GEAR Hybrid) with Power Saving feature instead of remembering the last used setting.

I remember that behaviour was functional when I was on windows 7

The keyboard backlight doesn't stay off on next startup, it automatically turns on by itself. but the power4gear does stay the same power profile.
