Hello everyone,
I bought an Asus UX32VD for about 1 month, and given the price it costs, I'm very satisfied with the quality of this ultrabook. I have not had any problems with it, so far, but I have a question about the RAM consumption... when I start Windows7, or when the computer is on idle state, is usually consuming between 3.0Gb and 3.5Gb, and I do not understand the reason of this.
I uninstalled some applications from Asus and disabled the startup of those that did not interest me, but I still have these values.
In Task Manager, the process that consumes more is "dwm.exe", which is the Desktop Window Manager, with only 40Mb.
What I want to ask is if anyone has noticed this situation, or if the problem is mine, and the best I have to do is to install a clean Windows7 (without the recovery partition)?
Thank you!

The reason for this consumption could be the SuperFetch technology?

Zybex is right , as long as superfetch is activated, it will take up the free ram to cache the program if I'm not mistaken.
try to disable the superfetch, you will get a lot of free ram. -
