Hey guys, so my laptop just suddenly shuts down for the third time this week, and it never happened to me before. They all happened when I was playing game, then the screen went blank and the laptop was down. I can turn it on immediately without any problems, and if I'm using other programs (excel, word, adobe...), it doesn't happen. By using temperature monitoring programs I found that the temperature went up to around 80 while gaming.

I have a UX32VD-DH71 with Win 8 pro, 10GB Ram and 500GB Samsung 830 ssd. Nothing strange had happened on it before.

Ensure your power settings (within control panel) are not configured to put the monitor to sleep. Also, if you have the NVidia 620m in yours, check the NVidia control panel settings for a discrepancy.

Does this happen to you on battery and AC power? Or only one or the other?
