I'm looking to get a UX32VD for it's screen and video card. I'll be using the machine to perform at concerts using Traktor. I also produce some with Ableton Live. I've had machines before that gave pops and clicks or overheated during performances. Before I buy I need to know that the software works well on this machine. Some machines don't react well with the external soundcard (Audio 4 DJ), and results in regular CPU spikes every other second. There have also been issues with USB 3.0 and crashing. I will also be plugging it into CDJ-2000's for MIDI control, and would like to confirm that it works well in that setup. The machine also needs good DPC latency, but I've already checked that on a store demo unit.

Anybody out there used the UX32VD in these situations?

I think you'll get better feedback from a DJ community, to be honest. I'm not sure how the Ultrabooks onboard sound chip will fare for what you need, but if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of portability, you might want to consider the N series as well - they are designed more for multimedia.
